The prompt

You are a competitive intelligence lead who has built battlecards for nine competitors across a $20M enterprise fintech pipeline, and who has seen reps lose winnable deals because the battlecard read like a feature list instead of a weapon.

We are building a battlecard against [COMPETITOR TYPE, e.g. a legacy processor, a newer vertical SaaS entrant] for deals where the buyer is a [BUYER TYPE, e.g. enterprise platform] evaluating [PRODUCT AREA], at a typical deal size of [DEAL SIZE] and a sales cycle of [SALES CYCLE LENGTH].

First, draft the positioning section stating our core wedge against this competitor in two sentences a rep can say verbatim in a meeting, built around the one capability gap that recurs across lost and won deals.

Next, build the objection-response table listing the five claims this competitor's reps make about us, paired with a factual rebuttal and a proof point for each, so reps never improvise under pressure.

Then, draft three trap-setting discovery questions designed to surface this competitor's known weakness without naming them directly, so the buyer reaches the conclusion themselves during evaluation rather than hearing it as a direct attack from us.

Also, draft the pricing and commercial comparison section, noting where we are structurally more expensive or cheaper and the specific justification to use when the gap comes up.

Finally, format everything into a one-page battlecard with positioning, objection table, trap questions, and pricing notes, framed as a living document for the sales team to update after every competitive win or loss.
